A Caledonian Sleeper train has broken down in the Highlands, causing disruption for train commuters.
ScotRail said the train is currently located between Dalwhinnie and Kingussie and there are arrangements being made for a locomotive to assist this train so services can resume.
Services that run between Perth and Inverness are affected and the company has had to make some alterations to services this morning.
The 07.10 Glasgow Queen Street to Inverness will terminate at Pitlochry, however if you are on board this service please remain on board as the train will return back to Perth.
The 08.45 Inverness to Glasgow Queen Street will be started from Perth.
Buses will be in place of these trains to run between Perth and Invernes.
At Perth there will be three buses (x1 Dochertys and x2 Smith and Sons from approximately 0920).
ScotRail is still waiting on confirmation of buses at Inverness but will update as soon as possible.
Disruption is expected until 10.45am.
More to follow.
