A number of north-east routes have been affected by snow and ice this morning, leading to some hazardous conditions on the roads.
Police have issued warnings about the following roads, which are only passable with extreme care:
B9001 Rothienorman to Inverness
B979 Netherley to Stonehaven
A90 Balmedie to Peterhead
A96 Huntly to Glens of Foudland
A947 Banff to Aberdeen
Officers have also confirmed that the A920 Ellon to Pitmedden road is now open.
The snow gates on the A93 between Braenar and Spittal Glenshee have also re-opened.
A Police Scotland spokesman added: “Police Scotland would like to advise road users in the North East areas in Aberdeen, Elgin and Moray that current weather conditions are causing a number of issues.
“Roads are currently passable with extreme care, however it is advised that drivers should only travel if absolutely necessary.”
