A video has been posted online showing an Aberdeen refuse collector struggling to empty bins due to the treacherous conditions of the city streets.

Colin Rennie posted the footage online earlier today and it has already been viewed 60,000 times.

In the video, which was recorded by an onlooker, the bin repeatedly slips and slides and struggles to stay upright before falling over.

Councils across the north-east have come under fire for the condition of roads and pavements as the region struggles to cope with plummeting temperatures.
