A north-east road will be closed for more than three months as part of the AWPR works.
A section of the road known as the C5K, which runs between Lochton and Nigg, will be shut at Greens of Crynoch, Blairs, for about 10 weeks.
This will allow contractor Aberdeen Roads Limited to finish a new bridge, which will take the Aberdeen Bypass above the local road, as well as complete the verges at the sides of the road.
Local diversions will be signposted.
A Transport Scotland spokesman said: “We would like to encourage those drivers who would consider using this route to plan their journey in advance and allow themselves additional travelling time so that they can reach their destination safely and on time.
“We thank road users and the local community in advance for their patience during this period.”
