Roadworks through Connel village near Oban have will continue for an extra two nights next week due to adverse weather delaying the programme.
Heavy rain and sub-zero temperatures overnight earlier this week have hampered progress of the resurfacing on the A85 Oban to Perth road near Oban.
Works were cancelled last night due to predicted heavy rainfall.
Teams will return on site from Sunday night for a further two nights should weather conditions allow works to continue.
Overnight road closures will be in place between 7pm and 7am. Traffic will be stacked at either end of the closure then escorted through the works at approximately hourly intervals or when it is safe to do so.
A spokesman for road maintenance company Bear Scotland said: “Some delay to journeys should be expected. Signed diversions will also be in place via the A816, A83 and A819, or via the A828, A82 and A85.”
