Bus wedged on traffic island blocks busy road

Motorists are facing delays on the A96 this afternoon as a bus has become stuck.

The double decker is wedged on a traffic island near Old Rayne, around 10 miles south of Huntly.

Police were called to the scene at around 3.50pm and work is underway to release the vehicle.

It is not known if any passengers are still on the bus, or if anyone has been injured.
