Stagecoach has launched an investigation after one of its fleet was involved in a crash at an Aberdeen roundabout yesterday.
Motorists faced large tailbacks along North Anderson Drive following the crash between the bus and a 4×4 car.
The black Mitsubishi Outlander and Number 59 Stagecoach bus came into collision at the roundabout between Provost Fraser Drive and North Anderson Drive shortly before 2pm.
A spokeswoman for the North Scotland branch of the bus firm confirmed that there were five passengers aboard it at the time.
She said: “One of our vehicles was involved in an incident at about 2pm on service 59.
“There were five passengers on board the vehicle and no injuries are reported.
“Safety is our priority and we will be carrying out our own investigation into the circumstances of this incident.”
A police spokeswoman confirmed that officers had been called to the scene to assist the flow of traffic past the two stricken vehicles.
She added that there was no indication that anyone involved had suffered any injury.
