Aberdeen City Council has issued a plea to residents to stop reporting piles of fallen leaves.
With autumn well underway, the orange and brown foliage is a regular sight across the streets of the north-east.
However local authority bosses say a “major sweep up” operation is underway and has asked people to stop telling them where to do their jobs.
In a tweet earlier this evening, they wrote: “Please don’t report the fallen leaves – we will get to them as soon as possible.”
