Police searching for a missing teenager will focus on a part of Aberdeenshire today after confirming that he took a bus to a rural village on Saturday.
UPDATE: A police helicopter and divers are now involved in the search for missing teenager Liam Smith.
Officers have this morning revealed that Liam Smith travelled on a 202 Stagecoach bus from Aberdeen to Lumphanan.
They have confirmed that Liam left from Aberdeen bus station at 1.11pm and disembarked at Lumphanan at 2.44pm.

The bus would have stopped at towns and villages in the Deeside area including Peterculter, Drumoak, Crathes and Banchory.
Officers are urging anyone who was on the bus and saw Liam, or who lives in the Lumphanan area and may have seen him, to get in touch with police on 101 using reference number 1302 of 18 November.
Police inquiries will focus on the Lumphanan area today.
Liam is described as white, 6ft 4ins tall and of slim build.
He has short brown hair and when he was last seen he was wearing a dark top, blue jeans and Nike Air Max trainers.
He is also understood to be carrying a camouflage North Face backpack.
