Transport Secretary Michael Matheson visited the AWPR today.
The 20-mile Craibstone to Stonehaven section of the £1 billion bypass is expected to be fully open to drivers from about 6am tomorrow morning.
Mr Matheson welcomed the new road saying: “it will make a massive difference to the travelling public in the north-east of Scotland and a real difference to those living locally and those in Aberdeen.
Motorist have been asked to drive with care especially as traffic is phased onto the new layout from the slip roads.
