North-east rail commuters have faced delays this morning because of a signalling fault.
Scotrail advised customers on Twitter this morning that the issues at Stonehaven and Laurencekirk were causing trains to be “delayed or revised”.
It is affecting trains between Aberdeen and Montrose.

Scotrail announced in the last hour that engineers have fixed the fault at Laurencekirk and are on their way to work on the issue at Stonehaven.
UPDATE: Engineers have fixed the fault at Laurencekirk and are now making their way to Stonehaven to work on the other issue affecting this line. We'll keep you posted. ^PD
