Police and council officials plan to meet at the site of a fatal crash to discuss road safety improvements.
Arkadiusz Kostecki died after the car he was driving careered down an embankment and hit a tree on the A981 Strichen to Brucklay road.
The 48-year-old, who lived in Fraserburgh, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment but died nine days later.
The collision happened about a quarter of a mile away from Strichen Community Park on February 16.

Now concerns have been raised about the safety of local residents using the road on their way to the park.
Later this week police and council officials will return to the scene to discuss measures to improve the safety of motorists and pedestrians using the site.
Former councillor and Strichen resident Lennie Pirie wants the council to consider moving 30mph speed restriction signs further out of the village.
Mr Pirie said: “This is getting to be a major concern now.
“There’s a lot of mothers and toddlers using the road who are also concerned about this.
“I would like to see the council move the speed signs.”
A council spokesman stressed that the road safety meeting was not unusual.
He said: “As is usual after a serious road traffic incident, our engineers will have a site meeting at the scene with police colleagues on Friday.
“This is to consider whether any engineering interventions can be made to improve safety, taking all the circumstances into account.”
Following Mr Kostecki’s death, police appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant Colin Matheson, of the road policing unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Kostecki at this very sad time.
“Inquiries into the incident continue and I would urge anyone with information who has not yet spoken to the police to get in touch by calling 101.”
