Two slip roads on the A96 will be closed overnight next week to allow for £125,000 of upgrades to be carried out.
Bear Scotland says the work on the Aberdeen to Inverurie road, at Tavelty and Kintore, will “address road defects” and create a smoother and safer journey for drivers.
The southbound off-slip at Tavelty will be closed between 7.30pm and 6.30am from Tuesday evening until Thursday morning.
Contractors will then turn their attention to the Kintore off-slip, which will be closed between 7.30pm on Friday and 6.30am the following morning.
The A96 will stay open throughout the works, with diversions in place at the affected slip roads.
Andy Thompson, from Bear Scotland, said: “These works have been designed to improve the general condition and safety of the slip roads on this section of the A96 for motorists.
“The resurfacing improvements have been scheduled to avoid daytime working to reduce any disruption during the works.
“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as they can, and we thank road users for their patience in advance during these works.”
