A signalling fault is currently causing delays for services between the Central Belt and the north-east.
Network Rail engineers are working to fix the problem, which has occurred at Montrose.
The fault is affecting services between Aberdeen and Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street.
A spokesman for Scotrail said: “We’re sorry to customers who’ve been delayed as a result of a signal fault near Montrose today. Engineers are working as quickly as possible to fix the fault and get services back to normal.
“Anyone delayed by 30 minutes or more is entitled to claim money back through our Delay Repay Guarantee on our website or mobile app.”
