Police in Inverness are appealing for information following a report of a man behaving inappropriately towards a teenage girl on a service bus.
The incident happened on the number 28 bus service between Inverness and Dingwall at around 9.50pm on Monday, June 3.
Officers are keen to speak to a man described as being in his 20 or early 30s, 5ft 7in tall with short dark hair, stubble and a tanned complexion.
He was wearing a black jacket, black jeans and white trainers.
He got off the bus at Kirkhill.
Inspector Dale Hansen said: “The young woman was in no way injured but she was left shaken by the man’s behaviour.
“We know the bus was reasonably quiet during the journey and we have already spoken to some of the passengers. However, we are still working to identify others, including one man wearing a blue shirt, who departed the bus at the same stop in Kirkhill.
“If you believe you were on the bus then we would you urge you to come forward as you may have information which could help our enquiries.
“You can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident NN3706/19, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
