Major repairs to a busy north-east route are to be carried out overnight this week.
Bear Scotland has announced it will be resurfacing the section of the A90 which runs through Peterhead on Thursday and Friday.
The £50,000 project will include pothole and crack repairs, starting at 7.30pm and finishing at 6.30am each night.
Temporary traffic lights and a 10mph speed limit will be in place during the works.
Andy Thompson from Bear Scotland said: “These works will repair a number of cracks, potholes and other issues on this section of the A90 in Peterhead, which will improve the general condition and safety of the road for motorists.
“The resurfacing has been scheduled to minimise delays by taking place overnight, however we encourage motorists to plan their journeys in advance and allow some extra time to reach their destination.”
