Trains travelling to the central belt are subject to delays this morning due to a signalling fault at Aberdeen.
ScotRail made the announced on social media with the disruption expected to last until 10am, affecting Edinburgh and Glasgow bound trains.
A statement online said: “We have got engineers on site and they are doing what they can to fix the fault, but unfortunately we have had to reduce the number of services through the area to allow them time to make repairs.
“This means the Aberdeen to Montrose local service will be suspended.
“Aberdeen to Edinburgh services and Aberdeen to Queen Street services are subject to delays.”
Some disruption has also been caused between Aberdeen and Dyce with a bus replacement service in operation for customers.
