Part of a major Aberdeenshire road will be closed overnight this week to allow for a £140,000 repair project.
Bear Scotland will carry out resurfacing works on the A90 Aberdeen to Peterhead road north of Ellon at Mill of Wateron, starting on Tuesday.
The project is expected to last five nights, with workers on the scene from 7.30pm until 6.30am the following morning.
A 10mph convoy system will be in place while the stretch is resurfaced.
Work is expected to be completed by 6.30am on Sunday.
Andy Thompson, from Bear Scotland, said: “This investment from Transport Scotland will allow us to repair a number of cracks, potholes and other issues which will improve the general condition and safety of this section of the A90 for motorists.
“We’ve taken steps to minimise disruption by carrying out the works overnight and ensuring that all traffic management will be removed outwith working hours.
“Our teams will do all they can to complete the project as quickly and safely as possible.”
