The fault was detected at 6.45am, with Network Rail engineers currently on site trying to fix the problem. Services from Aberdeen to Glasgow and Edinburgh have been cancelled. A ScotRail spokesman said: “We’re sorry to customers who’ve been delayed as a result of a signal fault near Stonehaven today. “Engineers are working as quickly as possible to fix the fault and get services back to normal. “Anyone delayed by 30 minutes or more is entitled to claim money back through our Delay Repay Guarantee on our website or mobile app.”
