Stagecoach has announced some services will revert to winter timetables from the end of October.
Orkney, Skye, Inverness and Elgin benefited from additional bus services over summer, but many will now come to an end for the season.
From Monday, 28 bus services on Orkney and Skye will return to winter timetables while some extra stops have been added in services in Moray.
In line with the winter flight schedule, service 11 in Inverness will be revised – but will continue to provide direct connections to the airport every 30 minutes.
From the same date, services 33A and 33C will be revised to serve the new £12 million Moray Sports Centre in Elgin.
The existing bus route, which serves between Pinefield East Road, Elgin Bus Station and Lossiemouth James Square, will be extended to include Moray Sports Centre.
Service 39 connecting Aviemore and Grantown-on-Spey with Elgin was introduced over the summer period and will operate for the last time in 2019 on Saturday, October 26.
