Trains between Aberdeen and Dundee are delayed and facing cancellation due to a body being found on the lines.
Emergency services are currently on site between Dundee and Broughty Ferry following a report of a body.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: “Police responded to reports of a body being found on the railway lines between Dundee and Broughty Ferry at around 10.37am this morning.”
“We are still looking into the circumstances into how the person came to be at the location – the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
“Efforts are ongoing to locate the person’s next of kin and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
ScotRail took to social media to confirm they were dealing with the unspecified incident, a statement said: “The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Dundee and Arbroath.

Services are beginning to return to normal with services now able to run between Dundee and Aberdeen.
Replacement buses will remain in place to supplement services during the restoration of the train service.
Bus Replacement
Four replacement buses, operated by Moffat & Williamson and Smith & Son, will depart from Dundee station whilst First Aberdeen have also issued four replacement services for Aberdeen commuters.
Stagecoach North East are also accepting valid rail tickets on their services.
LNER
To assist commuters, London North Eastern Railway (LNER) have announced an additional service will run from Dundee to Edinburgh, calling at Leuchars, Kirkcaldy, Inverkeithing and Haymarket.
