The tracks between Rogart and Brora are currently being inspected by Network Rail engineers to ensure it is safe for trains to pass. ScotRail staff are also enroute to monitor the flooding with water approximately three inches above the rails. A ScotRail statement said: “We’ve had reports of heavy rain flooding the Far North Line between Rogart and Brora. “The line has been closed until Network Rail’s team can inspect the line and check it’s safe for trains to run. “We’ll provide more info as soon as we can.”
