Police are warning of possible travel disruption tomorrow due to severe weather.
The Met Office has issued an amber “be prepared” warning for heavy rain in parts of the Highlands and Grampian regions.
About four inches (10cms) of rain is expected to fall in less than 24 hours, which could cause localised flooding and lead to difficult driving conditions.
The heaviest rain is expected between 5am and 6am, and SEPA has a flood alert in place for Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray.
Police are now advising motorists to take care and allow extra time in the morning, and be aware of the risk of flooding in low-lying areas.
