Train services in the north and north-east have resumed after obstruction on the Aberdeen to Inverness line caused a temporary closure.
ScotRail was forced to close the railway line this morning after a tree fell onto the tracks at Huntly.
The line remained closed for around 2 hours to allow engineers to remove the debris and make the area safe.
UPDATE: The tree has now been removed from the line and we are able to run trains through the area again. We're working hard to get services running back to schedule but some delays are expected while we get our trains and crew back into position. ^Megan
