Aberdeenshire road closes following lorry accident

An Aberdeenshire road was closed tonight after a lorry ended up in a ditch.

Police were called to the scene on the A920 Huntly to Dufftown road at around 5.30pm.

Nobody was hurt and the road two miles from Huntly is currently closed while the vehicle is recovered.

The process is expected to take around half an hour.

A police spokesman said: “It’s just gone into a ditch, but it needs to be recovered out of there.”
