Three in hospital following north east crash near Culter

Three people have been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following a one vehicle crash on a north east road.
The pink Kia Pucanto rolled off the road and landed in a field off the B979 Culter to Elrick “Malcolm” Road at around 7.30pm, near the Contlaw junction.
Police have closed the road between Culter and the Carnie crossroads.
The incident prompted a response from the police, fire and rescue and ambulance services.
A police spokesman said: “It is a one vehicle road traffic collision, three persons are currently at ARI. We were called at 7.30pm.
“Malcolm Road is closed south of the Carnie crossroads at Wester Ord and closed from north of Peterculter.”
An ambulance spokeswoman said: “We took three patients into hospital, none of them had life-threatening injuries.”
The crash happened around one mile north of Culter.
Two fire appliances from North Anderson Drive were called to the scene at 7.30pm.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “We had cutting gear in use and made the scene safe.”
It is not known if the firefighters had to remove anyone from the vehicle.
The fire crews were sent away from the crash scene at 8.30pm.
