An Aberdeenshire road is partially blocked following a crash between a car and a lorry.
The accident involving a Hyundai ix35 and a DAF lorry happened on the A947 Aberdeen to Oldmeldrum road, at its junction with the B979 Newmachar to Whitecairns road, just after 5pm.
The crash occurred around half a mile north of Newmachar and is affecting the B979.
Fire and rescue, ambulance and police crews have all been called to the scene.
A police spokesman said the car’s driver may have suffered a “very minor injury”.
A fire and rescue service spokesman said two appliances from Oldmeldrum and North Anderson Drive were sent to the crash.
“Nobody was trapped,” he added.
The police spokesman added: “We’re just at the scene. The road is partially blocked and traffic is managing to get around.”
