UK carrier Eastern Airways has signed a new codeshare agreement with Norwegian airline Wideroe to provide smoother connections between Britain and the Scandinavian country.
The deal means Eastern can offer connections in Aberdeen and Newcastle for flights to Stavanger and Bergen from nine other UK airports, including Cardiff, East Midlands, Southampton and Wick.
Eastern is also giving its customers the opportunity to skip queues in Aberdeen and Newcastle using its fast track channel.
UK passengers will benefit from improved access to Wideroe’s domestic destinations, such as Kristiansand and Molde.
Eastern commercial director Kay Ryan said: “This exciting new partnership with renowned Norwegian carrier Wideroe not only offers a new destination from Aberdeen to Bergen on the Eastern Airways network, but also ensures UK regional passengers are better connected to Norway travelling via Aberdeen.”
