Because of a spot of overnight rain, there might be ice on the roads, so be sure you drive safe. In Aberdeen Ashgrove Road is closed due to an earlier accident A burst water main has closed a large part of Great Western Road and causing huge tailbacks. There’s long-term roadworks on St Machar Drive in Tillydrone at the Bedford Road junction. A diversion is still in place at Riverside Drive. The usual congestion can be expected around Haudagain, Union Street, Holburn Street and the Beach Boulevard. In Aberdeenshire one lane on the A90 at Stonehaven is closed for resurfacing during the night. There’s also resurfacing work outside Peterhead, which could cause delays. Motorists in Inverurie will be driving through narrow lanes due to roadworks at Blackhall Roundabout. And in Keith temporary traffic lights are in place in both dircetions on Moss Street at the Bridge Street junction. Lastly, those ferrying should note services between Wemyss Bay and Rothesay will operate under revised timetable due to technical difficulties. Enjoy the weekend when it comes.
