The work on a broken manhole cover is causing major problems for motorists heading northbound on Market Street, near the entrance to Union Square. The shopping centre is now inaccessible from the route and motorists are being asked to access the centre from South College Street. The road is expected to reopen tomorrow morning. Riverside Drive also remains closed as work is carried out to repair a gas mains.
