While Monday has thankfully been and gone, the cold weather sadly lingers, and it doesn’t look as if it’s going to shift.
At least it’s only nine days until Christmas, and that means at least eight days left of travel, or four, if you’re lucky enough to be a due a holiday come Friday.
So here we go.
The yellow warning of ice and snow continues today, so please plan ahead and drive safe.
High winds are again out in force at Skye Bridge and Dornoch Bridge, both are open, but caution is advised.

There’s long-term roadworks on St Machar Drive in Tillydrone at the Bedford Road junction.
A diversion is still in place at Riverside Drive.
The usual congestion can be expected around Haudagain, Union Street, Holburn Street and the Beach Boulevard.
In Aberdeenshire one lane on the A90 at Stonehaven is closed for resurfacing during the night.
There’s also resurfacing work outside Peterhead, which could cause delays.
And in Keith temporary traffic lights are in place in both directions on Moss Street at the Bridge Street junction.
For those ferrying Northlink has confirmed all sailing are subject to delays.
The Mallaig – Armadale, the Mallaig – Eigg – Muck – Rum and the Mallaig – Lochboisdale services from Calmac also face disruption.
