For those not lucky enough to be holiday just yet, today’s commute will be a windy one. A weather warning for wind and rain in the Highlands is in place until around 3pm. YELLOW ALERT #WIND until 12pm today & #RAIN until 3pm today. Northlink has advised all sailings are under review and several CalMac services are also disrupted. Now for a few non-weather related issues to look out for: In Aberdeen there’s long-term roadworks on St Machar Drive in Tillydrone at the Bedford Road junction. The usual congestion can be expected around Haudagain, Union Street, Holburn Street and the Beach Boulevard. In Aberdeenshire one lane on the A90 at Stonehaven is closed for resurfacing during the night. There’s also resurfacing work outside Peterhead, which could cause delays.
