There is also a warning that trains could be disrupted until 6pm tomorrow because of high winds forecast this afternoon and beyond. Services between Dingwall and Kyle and between Glasgow and Oban, Fort William and Mallaig will be suspended at 6pm. Earlier this morning services were disrupted after a snowplough train got stuck in the snow south of Inverness. The train got into difficulties at Slochd at 6.35am but was able to get moving again at 7.15am. A fallen tree was also removed from the line betwen Dalwhinne and Blair Atholl. Services were disrupted for around an hour.
