Poor weather conditions caused two cars to come off one of the north-east busiest roads this morning.
The silver Ford Focus and another vehicle came off the southbound A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road near its junction with the A92 Stonehaven to Montrose road.
Police, fire and rescue teams and ambulance crews were all called to the scene just after 8.30am.
The north-east had been hit by strong snow showers this weekend which has closed several roads in western Aberdeenshire.
A police spokeswoman said: “Two cars came off the road just due to the weather, there was no injuries and the cars have been uplifted.
“There was no hold-ups or anything. We were called at 8.40am.”
Three fire crews were also called to the incident.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “We were at the road traffic collision at 8.36am this morning, we had two pumps from Stonehaven and one from Altens. We were just there to make the vehicles safe.”
An ambulance spokeswoman said: “We attended, we got the call at 8.35am. We attended but cleared on scene, no one was taken to hospital.”
