Credit: Traffic Scotland. A lorry caught fire on the Kessock Bridge this morning, causing huge traffic disruptions. The engine of a lorry went up in flames after it was in collision with two cars on the northbound dual carriageway. No one was injured. Two fire crews from Inverness attended the accident, which happened at around 7.50am. #A9 Kessock Bridge (N) lane 1 (of 2) blocked by HGV. A police spokeswoman said that officers attended to direct traffic, which was able to pass the accident using the second lane.
