Snow has been slowly covering Scotland white today, resulting in traffic chaos on many main roads.
Traffic Scotland have also released a handy map of roads affected by the wintry weather, as well as a warning to use caution on high roads above 250 metres where 1-3cm of snow is likely to land.
And schoolchildren in the Highlands were given a day off today, as eight schools have been closed so far due to the wintry weather and severe road conditions.
The A9 in particular has been heavily affected, with snow covering the majority of the road and high wind warnings in place north on the Dornoch Bridge.
And although the snow is expected to continue tonight across much of Scotland, the snow forecast to make way for sunshine in the north-east by tomorrow morning.
