A man was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after his motorcycle collided with a car on a north-east road last night.
The accident happened on the B9170 Methlick to Oldmeldrum road, two miles outside Methlick, at around 5pm.
Police and an ambulance crew were called to the crash, which involved a blue Triumph Sprint and a silver Audi A4 estate.
A police spokesman said: “There were no life threatening or life-changing injuries.
“The motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital just due to quite a few fractures, both wrists and an elbow, and they decided it would be easier to take the heli-med.”
The road was blocked for until around 7.45pm whilst the vehicles were recovered.
