Heavy rain has caused flooding on several roads in Aberdeen.
Huge queues of traffic are backing up on Ellon Road, where deep puddles are causing problems for motorists at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and the Gordon Barracks.
The northbound carriage of Ellon Road was closed at the barracks at about 12.25pm, with traffic diverted along North Donside Road, but has since reopened.
Market Street, Riverside Drive, Westburn Road and Ashgrove Road West, as well as South Deeside Road between the city and Maryculter are also badly affected by surface water.
Police are urging motorists to take extra care, and to ensure their headlights are on.
A police spokeswoman said: “Motorists are reminded to drive with their headlights on, slow down and increase the distance between you and the vehicle in front of you so if you do have to slow down or stop you can do so safely.”
