A train travelling between Dundee and Aberdeen crashed into a hay bale, which is believed to have been blown onto the line by the wind, at around 7pm. All trains going either way were initially cancelled but the southbound line is now open. All northbound Scotrail trains, running from Dundee towards Aberdeen, are expected to be disruped till around 10pm. Scotrail is advising people to use other forms of transport. A spokeswoman for the operator said: “”We apologise to customers who were affected by the disruption.”
