A train has collided with a vehicle this evening in West Lothian.
The 4.39pm service was approaching Uphill Station in the region when it crashed into the vehicle, causing damage to the side of the train.
A smashed window on the train has been reported as causing a “slight grazing” to the hand of one passenger, but it is not currently known if anyone else has been injured in the incident.
Police, fire and ambulance teams are currently attending the incident.
Scotrail said that services on the Edinburgh to Helensburgh train line may be disrupted.
Scotrail tweeted: “Due to a train hitting an obstruction on the line near Uphall, services between Edinburgh and Helensburgh/Milngavie may be cancelled.”
