These images show some of Scotland’s ski slopes starting to fill in as the country is gripped by another blast of winter weather.
Parts of the Highlands have woken up to huge amounts of snow this morning as the Met Office issued a severe weather warning across the UK.
Webcam images taken from Cairngorm Mountain and The Lecht ski resorts show runs starting to fill in with the white stuff.
However, there is still not enough for snowboarders and skiers to get too excited with all resorts remaining closed.
Driving conditions in the Highlands are being described as “horrendous” with the A9 Perth to Inverness road at the Drumtochter pass covered in snow.
The whole of the UK has been placed on a yellow “severe” weather warning by the Met Office.
The forecaster is warning of snow and ice in Grampian and the Highlands and Islands.
Orkney and Shetland are the only parts of the UK not covered by the weather warning.
Parts of inland Aberdeenshire are expected to see snowfall throughout today and tomorrow morning.
The A93 Ballater to Perth road at Glenshee is closed due to snow whilst there is a warning out for the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road between Keith and Newtack.
The B974 Cairn O’ Mount road was closed due to “heavy snow” until 9.30am.
Likewise Inverness and much of the Highlands are being warned of snowfall during the same timeframe.
In Aberdeen, snow could descend on the city between 4pm and 5pm.
