Two cars have crashed on one of the north-east’s busiest roads.
The silver Vauxhall Astra collided with an Audi on the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road near Huntly at about 3.50pm.
The road was blocked around the incident, which did not result in any injuries.
A police spokeswoman said: “There was no one injured. We got the call at about 3.50pm. I don’t think it was causing major traffic mayhem. It was obstructing traffic a wee bit. Traffic was going around it.”
She could not say if the crash was a result of winter weather.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “We had an officer who happened to be out in the area that came across it, but we weren’t required.”
