A major north road has been partially closed this evening due to a crash.
Fire, ambulance and police teams were called to the scene of the crash, on the A9 between Dalmagarry and the Slochd summit, just before 8.30pm.
It is not currently known how many vehicles were involved in the crash, or the extend of any injuries, however an ambulance service spokeswoman have confirmed that one crew has taken at least one person to Raigmore Hospital as a result of the incident.
The road is currently closed northbound, and is expected to remain closed for at least the next hour.
A local diversion is currently in place.
