Passengers hoping to travel on a stretch of north-east railwayface delays after flooding on the line.
A section of the rails between Dyce and Inverurie has been closed while Network Rail engineers assess the situation.
It is thought that ballast, material that is used to provide stability to a vehicle or structure, has become dislodged, rendering the line unsafe.

Trains from Aberdeen to Dyce and from Inverurie to Inverness are running as normal.
