Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on the A98 just north of New Byth at 8.42am. Fire crews used cutting equipment to free the woman after her Citroen C1 crashed. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown, but ambulance teams are in attendence to treat the woman for her injuries. A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We were called by fire and ambulance about a car off the Cowbog Road. “There were reports of a person trapped in the car. “Fire service were at the scene releasing someone from the vehicle. “Ambulance are at the scene attending to the female.”
