Man killed on north-east road identified

Police have confirmed that a man who died following a crash on a north-east road has been formally identified.

He has been named as 79-year-old George McAllister from Broughty Ferry.

The smash happened on the A92 Arbroath to Montrose road on Friday, February 19.

As with all sudden deaths a report will submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
