The smash, which involved two vehicles took place outside Hoodles, a children’s play centre, near Old Meldrum on the B9170 just after 8:30. A police spokesperson confirmed that one of the drivers was trapped in their vehicle. The cars involved were a Black Mercedes and a Grey Toyota. Two Scottish Fire and Rescue Service appliances from Inverurie and Kintore attended the crash near Hoodles Playbarn. A person had to be cut free from their car following the incident. A man has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the crash. The extent of the his injuries is not yet known.
