Road closed after man cut free from Aberdeenshire car and lorry crash

A man has been taken to hospital after a two vehicle crash on an Aberdeenshire road today.
The crash between a 4×4 and a lorry happened on the B9001 near Rothienorman.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent two appliances, one from Oldmeldrum and one from Turriff to the scene where they used cutting gear to free a trapped male driver from the Silver Mitsubishi 4×4.
The Scottish Ambulance Service are on the scene treating three casualties.
Two casualties are described as ‘walking wounded’ and the third, a male in his 70s is being taken to hospital.
The driver of the Renault lorry is uninjured.
