The 36-year-old victim was left “shaken” after the attack on a train travelling between Inverness and Tain on November 11 last year. British Transport Police (BTP) has appealed for anyone who recognises the man in the photograph to make contact as a “matter of urgency”. The incident happened on the 9.06pm service travelling north. The man in the photograph left the train at Alness and is believed to be in his mid to late 30s, about 5ft 11in and of medium build. On the night of the assault he was wearing a khaki-coloured jacket and jeans. The officer in charge of the investigation Constable Matt O’Neill has appealed to anyone with information to make contact.
