British Transport Police were called to Broughty Ferry at around 12.50pm following reports of the collision. There are no further details at this stage. Major delays are expected on trains between Aberdeen and Dundee as a result. A spokeswoman for ScotRail said: “Sadly, due to a person being struck by a train near Dundee, some ScotRail services are disrupted. “Passengers are advised to check our website or app for the most up to date information before travelling.”
